CH Institute is proud to present our new Intuitive Development Program.
We believe that everyone has an innate psychic capacity that can be honed and developed through awareness,
understanding and practice. This psychic, or intuitive gift manifests for all of us through dreams and subtle
visions, and through simple daily experiences, such as thinking of a person just before the phone rings, having
a "sense" that something is going to happen, feeling other people's feelings, or seeing a clear picture in our mind
of a person or object that a friend is describing. Sometimes we feel or "see" the presence of a departed loved one.
Most people would say they wish they could receive this information or guidance more regularly, especially when
they really want or need it. Most would also wish to be sure they are receiving accurate and relevant information.
Some might want to integrate this knowledge and wisdom into their professional practice as a therapist, healer or
other profession. Others simply wish to be more connected and in tune with their Higher Self and spirit guides and
to feel clear about the direction and purpose of their life
In this 135 hour program, we will cover the four main methods of receiving intuitive information: channeling
which is direct transmission and a sense of knowing; clairvoyance which is the ability to see pictures, spirits, and
the aura or energy field; clairaudience which is the ability to "hear" spirit guides and the telepathic transmissions of
people, animals and other energies; and clairsentience - the ability to accurately feel and understand emotional energies,
often called empathy. The basics of these four chakra based ways of receiving information will be covered, as well as
meditation, developing clarity, counseling skills and ethical and safety issues. Additionally, advanced topics in the various
areas of life where most of us hold our questions and challenges. The basics of Astrology and Tarot are also taught in the
advanced program, to allow the student to use these well known tools to augment their own unique psychic abilities.
By the end of the program, our goal is for you to understand your own intuitive nature, to have learned how to receive
accurate and relevant information for yourself and for others, and to have developed your clarity and ethics to be able to
use these gifts in the service of healing and Spirit.
Most workshops are taught in three-hour modules generally from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays,
although some workshops may be taught in a weekly evening class format. You may sign up for the entire certification course for a
discounted fee, or choose the modules you are drawn to. Some prerequisites apply.
This program is created and primarily taught by Kay Taylor, a gifted and well-known Psychic Channel and Astrologer (see bio below).
She will also be available for an internship and externship supervision program for those who complete the program.

Introduction to Meditation - $60
Saturday, April 26, 2008 - 10 am to 1 pm
Meditation is essential for spiritual awareness and clarity and is part of the foundational practice for
psychic development. Most westerners have a challenging time in the early stages of meditation practice
because we are so stressed, busy and generally have a well developed mental outlook. In this one module
workshop we will talk a little about the theory, types, purpose and history of meditation, and practice several
styles, including traditional basic breathing meditations and visual guided meditations especially designed
to help clear the chakras and aura and promote groundedness and good boundaries. We will also touch on
understanding the in-body and out-of-body experience, manifesting and positive thought, spirituality vs psychic
skills, and helpful advice for developing a regular practice of meditation.
Introduction to Astrology - $60
Saturday, April 26, 2008 - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Most everyone is familiar with basic sun sign astrology, which certainly has its place in introducing the subject
of the horoscope to people in an understandable way. However, it is obvious to both believers and skeptics that
one twelfth of the world's population (including animals and insects) cannot possibly be having the same experiences
on a given day: "Today is a fine day for romance but beware of letters arriving unannounced and make sure you
take your vitamins as your health is precarious!" In this introductory workshop you will be exposed to the basic
qualities of the twelve signs, the major planets and the twelve houses and their meaning, as well as a brief discussion
of aspects (the energetic connecting links between planets, transits (current movement of planets), progressions
(inner development of the chart) and solar returns (the birthday year overlay). Astrology is like learning a new
language and the goal of this class is to give you an overview of the system. Future workshops would go into
the details and over time you will develop more comfort and understanding with the concepts. You may bring
your chart or provide your birth data prior to the class so your chart will be available. The whole chart, when
understood, is a miraculous and holographic roadmap of your soul's journey. Understanding your chart and the
chart of those close to you can be a true blessing.
Introduction to Psychic Skills - $120
Sunday, April 27, 2008 - 10 am to 5 pm
(lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm)
Many people have experienced some level of psychic awareness, such as having dreams, visions and feelings that come true.
Yet most would love to develop these skills to be able to receive accurate information when it's really needed and to be able to trust
this guidance too. This fun and informative all day workshop is to help you understand more about your natural abilities - how you
specifically receive information through the chakra "antennas" - and to deepen your clarity, accuracy and trust. We will do several
healing and balancing meditations throughout the day, learn about grounding, running energy and creating boundaries, connecting
with your spirit guides, clairvoyance (the ability to see energy) and aura reading. Whether you are a total beginner or have practiced
meditation and developed your intuitive skills, this workshop will provide an abundance of clear and grounded information. We will
do several experiential exercises and practice individually and in pairs to learn the various ways one can access information and healing
energies. In this one day training, you can develop a deeper understanding of how you normally use your intuition and learn skills to
develop clarity and accuracy.
Your Instructor
Kay Taylor is a compassionate, grounded and experienced intuitive counselor, integrating clear psychic skills with
astrology, psychosynthesis,hypnotherapy and spiritual healing. She has worked with individuals, couples and
groups since 1984. Developing and teaching her Intuitive Training Program since the late 1980's, she has
trained hundreds of people to use their psychic skills, including advanced apprenticeship for some individuals
who wished to use their skills professionally.
Kay's intuitive abilities operate on all four chakra levels simultaneously. She is a trance channel and has worked
from various levels of trance including a light, almost imperceptible trance through medium level where she is still
engaged and blended yet bringing information and energy through diretly, as well as deep trance where her physical
vehicle was given fully to the Light Spirits wishing to communicate through her. Her clairvoyant vision is detailed and
allows her to see auras, chakras, past life and future pictures, and to "watch" the energetic process of students she is
coaching while they practice their psychic gifts in pairs or in the classroom setting. She is strongly clairaudient to be
able to hear the voices of spirits and others. And her empathic emotional resonance is clear and refined---sometimes
more of a challenge than a gift in the past - and yet this experience allows her to assist others in developing their
boundaries as well as their gift for true empathy. Although spirit mediumship of departed friends and families is
not her personal focus, she can and has worked in this manner and can teach those who wish to how to do this safely
and clearly. Overall you can be sure that your own way of receiving and processing psychic information and energy
will be respected, understood and nurtured by this talented psychic.
Kay's belief is that issues are generally best viewed from all levels in order to answer a question
fully: the spiritual or soul purpose of any issue; the emotional component including related old
(this life and past life) and current feelings; the beliefs and thoughts surrounding the issue; and
any physical or reality based issues. The training embodies this concept of a holistic approach.
The philosophy of the training is based on an empowerment approach, discerning where possible
the soul level choice in its relationship to the human choices and desires, and attempting to bridge
Spirit and reality through the words chosen and intentions. By understanding the delicate balance
between free will and fate, one can create change and release karma and blockages wherever possible.
