A year of shamanic journeying, exploring the spirit worlds, connecting with nature, discovering our gifts, and deepening our relationships with the unseen.
Everyone is welcome, students, practitioners, those just dipping their toes into the fascinating, life changing, practices of shamanism and folks who are interested in the subject of the night or who love ceremony in community.
We will start with an overview of the topic, a lively group discussion tapping into our collective knowledge and experience. Then an experiential practice of topic using the creative processes of art, visioning, anchoring, drumming, singing or something totally different. We will end with a short journey sharing and setting an intention going forward.

January 28 — Eagle & Condor Medicine
Journeying with the medicine of the East, exploring expanded vision, perspective, and our relationship with the greater mystery.
February 25 — The Wisdom of Stones
Connecting with the spirits of stones and crystals, exploring their ancient wisdom and what they may have to teach us.
March 25 — Awakening with the Earth
A spring equinox journey into renewal, rebirth, and the awakening of life. Exploring what is ready to emerge within us.
April 22 — Finding Your Place of Power
Journeying into the spirit worlds to discover a personal place of power—a place to return to for guidance, healing, and connection. This gathering also falls on Earth Day.
May 27 — Serpent Medicine
Exploring the medicine of the South, shedding old skins, renewal, embodiment, and our connection with the Earth.
June 24 — The Healing Power of Water
A summer solstice gathering exploring the spirit of water, its healing qualities, and our relationships with rivers, oceans, rain, and the waters within us.
July 22 — The Council of Helping Spirits
Journeying to meet with a council of spiritual allies, asking for wisdom, support, and guidance.
August 26 — The Gifts We Carry
Discovering gifts, abilities, and strengths we may have forgotten or not yet recognized. Exploring what is waiting to be brought into our lives.
September 23 — Jaguar Medicine
Exploring the medicine of the West, courage, the unknown, and the wisdom found in darkness. A gathering held just after the autumn equinox.
October 28 — Mapping the Lower World
An experiential evening exploring the landscapes of the Lower World. Participants will journey, create maps of the places they discover, and share their experiences.
December 23 — Releasing the Old, Welcoming the New
A special winter solstice gathering to honor the year that has passed, release what is no longer needed, and journey for guidance about the year ahead.

Facilitated by:
Annie Blackstone teaches Shamanic practices, at HCH. Her goal is to provide students with a solid foundation in Shamanic practices and create a supportive and dynamic community of healers, because the world needs us now more than ever. Annie’s teaching draws on a variety of cultures, teachers and traditions which all stem from an understanding of working in relationship and reciprocity with nature and the unseen forces that shape our world.
Annie also teaches hypnotherapy at HCH. She is a clinical hypnotherapist, Reiki master teacher and shamanic practitioner. In her practice she also utilizes and received advanced training in Biofield tuning, EFT, Past Life Regression, Spirit Releasment Therapy, and Brain Spotting. Corey Rothernel is a graduate of the Shamanic Practitioner Training and Parapsychology programs at HCH. He has been studying the wisdom of the ancient and unseen worlds for over three decades and strives to bring their light and love to the modern age for practical application. Earth-centered and grounded in his techniques, Corey blends what is scientifically understood with that which is mystically unquantifiable to guide clients and instruct students in how to claim ownership of their lives and their place in the universe.
Gifted and experienced in both healing work and teaching, Corey also brings a background and degree in written and visual storytelling to his work and combines it all together to create interesting, thoughtful, and effective approaches to resolving personal issues and classroom instruction. Corey sees clients in the East Bay and online. He is currently studying Reiki medicine and assists in the Shamanic Practitioner Trainings.
